SportChassis, located in south Clinton, announced Monday it is reducing its workforce significantly to address the recent announcement from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), the company that manufactures the Freightliner chassis that are modified at the Clinton plant, would implement production downtime at both their manufacturing locations due to the global shortage of semiconductors.
