A tough loss to Kingfisher in Thursday’s I-40 Classic opener didn’t stifle the Clinton baseball team (4-5 overall), as it rebounded Friday at home, to beat Leedey and Merritt, earning a spot in Saturday’s third-place game at Weatherford.

During the upcoming Custer County Board of Commissioners meeting set for Monday, attendees will discuss the resignation of CED-7’s director.

Custer County Sheriff Dan Day said his department has had Advance Correctional Health Care as the medical provider for the Custer County Jail for roughly 12 years but is looking to switch to Turn Key Health Clinics.
