will once again produce its annual “Saluting Our Patriots” edition later this month which honors the men and women who have served in every branch of the armed forces. With that, the newspaper is asking for veterans or their loved ones to help share their stories, whether they formerly served or are actively serving today.

Due to Juneteenth being a federal holiday and the U.S. Postal Service suspending home delivery for the holiday, there will be no Thursday edition of the Clinton Daily News.

Toby Anders, building inspector and code enforcement officer for the City of Clinton, is staying busy with an upcoming abatement hearing featuring 18 local properties for condemnation or weed abatement processes. He was able to spare a moment for an interview with the Clinton Daily News, in which he explained a bit about both processes as well as what property owners can do to avoid being part of an abatement hearing.
