Eight prospective bidders considered throwing their hat in the ring for the work on Clinton Regional Hospital’s roof. Only one submitted a bid within the deadline. At Tuesday’s Clinton City Council meeting, the council accepted the bid, as was the only option available due to state statute.

After an executive session which lasted 17 minutes, the Clinton Regional Hospital Authority unanimously approved a motion to enter the impending lawsuit with the City of Clinton against Rural Health Solutions and 3rd Avenue West.
