The theme of Friday’s annual Clinton Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet may have been “Boots, Bling, & Business,” but as the case has been many times before, the actual theme was “Service,” as all of the award winners proved to be emblematic of the character trait.

Information about two area crashes was released Friday by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Neither accident involved fatalities but did see people injured.

At Monday’s meeting of the Custer County commissioners, officials discussed plans in moving forward as well as tying up loose ends, while continuing to encourage the public to be safe and exercise caution on county roads.
