(AP) – Penn State is favored to claim another team title and Cornell’s Yianni Diakomihalis and Iowa’s Spencer Lee will seek their fourth national titles at the NCAA Division I wrestling championships, which started Thursday in Tulsa.
When one thinks of Clinton football and head coaches, most will mention Mike Lee. Some may think of Dave Meadows, and both are well deserving to be mentioned when Clinton football comes up in any conversation, but the one that brought the first state championship to Clinton was Jim Frazier. I had the pleasure of talking to him this past weekend. Here is some of his story about how he came to Clinton, the success he had here and about some of the players he coached while at Clinton.
