At the end of the day, the Clinton High School girls’ golf team had to accept finishing fourth Wednesday in the Weatherford Tournament but also had to be elated considering the type of competition it faced.

Reds sweep Woodward in wild pair

The Clinton High School baseball team swept Woodward in a two-game series earlier this week in a pair of games that could not be more different.

With temperatures in the 50s and winds gusting up to 30 mph, the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians began the home part of their slow-pitch softball season Monday in conditions more suited for ice hockey than softball. The Lady Indians fell 22-14 to the Leedey Lady Bison.

Clinton golfers take runner-up in first tourney

The elements were against them. The course was against them. Their actual competitors were against them and likely first-tournament jitters were against them as well. Still, the Clinton High School girls’ golf team delivered a runner-up finish Monday at the Lawton MacArthur Tournament.

CHS soccer splits pair with Knights

After waiting to play the rescheduled game against Christian Heritage Academy, the Red Tornadoes (4-0) came out with a major win against the Knights while the Lady Reds (1-3) suffered a loss to the Lady Knights Monday evening at the Tornado Bowl.
