Mike Galloway, who recently retired from the position of Custer County Emergency Management director after holding the position for 23 years, was honored at the 2025 Oklahoma Floodplain Manager’s Association Conference Sept. 23 in Midwest City. Galloway was awarded the Chairperson’s Award, an honor bestowed annually since 2007 to celebrate OFMA members who show dedication and make valuable and significant contributions through the years to the association for the improvement of floodplain management across the state of Oklahoma.
