County Clerk Melissa Graham has early mornings at the Custer County Courthouse. “I come in early so I can do things without being interrupted, because it is a very open office and people are in here a lot. I get here usually between 6 and 6:15 a.m., and that’s my time to catch up on whatever’s on my desk,” she said. This includes signing purchase orders and returning emails in the quiet, before the rush of the day starts.

On Thursday evening, Clinton Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of N. 9th Street and Prairie Chief Avenue in reference to a minor collision between a vehicle and a 7-year-old bicyclist.
