Clinton educators named Newcomers of the Year

Alongside their recently announced Teachers of the Year, Clinton Public Schools announced five notable Newcomers of the Year at each school site. The teachers recognized are those that have shown passion for their students and school spirit while still only within their first year at CPS.

Blaze claims home in northwest Clinton

A structure fire mid Tuesday morning left a house in shambles after candles left burning in the house’s living room sent the residence located at 907 N. 19th St. up in smoke.

As of press time Wednesday, Charlene Wassana has filed for the Clinton Public School’s Board of Education Dist. 4 seat and will face CaraLea Kreizenbeck who filed for candidacy on Monday for the seat currently held by Dr. Floyd Simon Jr.
