DENVER (AP) — A former Colorado sheri _’s deputy convicted of killing a 22-year-old man in distress who called 911 for help was sentenced Monday to three years in prison, the maximum sentence, by a judge who said the shooting was about power.

An Arapaho woman died as the result of a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on State Highway 47 and N. 2310 Rd., 7 miles west of Thomas.
