Volunteers with the “Oklahoma Decides Healthcare” campaign may soon be seen in Clinton and surrounding towns, collecting signatures in a bid to put Medicaid expansion on the state’s 2020 ballot. The campaign is holding a signature-collecting training session at 6:30 p.m.
Clinton citizens will not be asked to vote this fall on a 1-percent fee to be added to their electrical bills.
Paving bids will be sought on seven Clinton streets this fall, with the largest being Neptune Drive running south from the Interstate 40 bridge to Belter’s car lot where Old Highway 66 splits off and goes west.
