As Clinton Public Schools transitions from the 2019-2020 academic year into the summer break, the school meal program will continue as it is for the foreseeable future, said CPS Assistant Superintendent Adam McPhail.

Ward 4 Clinton City Councilman Bobby Stewart has announced his intentions to run for a third term.
Clinton Public Library’s annual summer reading program is set to begin on Monday, but it’s going to look different this year, said head librarian Kathy Atchley. To make it easy for families to social distance, she and her staff have come up with some creative ways to keep kids reading over the summer and also provide fun activities to keep them busy.
Recently the Weatherford Police Department was notified by the Hinton Police Department of the discovery and removal of skimming devices at a gas station in Hinton.
