Semi wrecks off I-40

Clinton Police Officer Jeffrey Robbins inspects the damage on a semi-truck accident Sunday morning on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 62.

There are now 20 cases of COVID-19 in Custer County according to information released Monday by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Jerry Keith Mabry, 67, of Amarillo, Texas, was killed in an accident around noon Saturday on Interstate 40.

Looking at possible COVID-19 contingency plans for the 2020-21 school year, the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) has passed a waiver allowing school districts to count any instruction offered on Saturdays toward the state’s minimum requirement of 180 days of yearly instruction.
