Cinco de Mayo festival Saturday

Cinco de Mayo may have been on Wednesday, but the festivities will continue this Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

A public hearing was held during the regular meeting of the Clinton City Council Tuesday regarding a proposed grant application for an updated five-year improvement plan.

In his report this week to the Clinton Economic Development trustees, Clinton Economic Development Authority Director Roland Mower said he and Clinton City Manager Robert Johnston have been meeting with local commercial real estate brokers to discuss ways to better market property in the Clinton Industrial Park and other city-owned property that can be sold.

The names of 11 law enforcement officers and one canine partner who died in the line of duty in Oklahoma were dedicated on the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial recently during the 53rd Annual Oklahoma Law Enforcement Memorial Service.
