Three recent college grads

Three student teachers within Clinton Public Schools have been hired on full-time for the 2021-2022 school year. All three teachers completed their student teaching in Clinton and expressed their excitement about their new positions.

Sliding into fun

Custer County Sheriff Dan Day attended the annual National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) Convention June 21-24 in Phoenix, Ariz. After touring the Arizona state border, Day learned how much all states are affected by it.

Car flees in-town wreck

A two-car accident with injuries around 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Gary Boulevard allegedly turned into a hit-and-run, as one of the vehicles involved jetted away from the scene.
