Panhandlers

Custer County Sheriff Dan Day and Clinton Police Department Chief Paul Rinkel have been working together to find a solution to stop panhandlers from earning a living off donations from Custer County citizens. Day and Rinkel want citizens to be aware of how panhandlers operate.

The possibility of Custer County earning money off its jail trust funds was discussed Monday morning when county commissioners met at their weekly meeting with a financial advisor from Edward Jones.
