Clinton fireman John Denney sprays water on cotton bales Wednesday morning at the cotton gin located at Midwest Farmers. Cotton bales had caught on fire before 10 a.m. and there appeared to be minimal damage.

Clinton’s Halloween

Clinton’s annual Halloween trunk or treat will be Saturday. Residents are also encouraged to partake in trick-or-treating that day as well. The official trick-or-treating hours for the city will be 6-9 p.m. on Saturday. No activities are scheduled on Halloween day.
