A male contractor fell off Clinton’s new construction bridge on Route 66 around 9 a.m. Thursday. Clinton Fire Capt. Forrest Valentine said the victim fell approximately 20 to 24 feet.
The Clinton Police Department received two 2021 Dodge Charger vehicles Tuesday. Police Chief Paul Rinkel said the vehicles were on back order since they were budgeted during the last fiscal year.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A federal appeals court granted stays of execution on Wednesday for two Oklahoma inmates who were scheduled to receive lethal injections in the coming weeks.
