Worker falls off river bridge

A male contractor fell off Clinton’s new construction bridge on Route 66 around 9 a.m. Thursday. Clinton Fire Capt. Forrest Valentine said the victim fell approximately 20 to 24 feet.

CPD obtains new patrol units for its fleet

The Clinton Police Department received two 2021 Dodge Charger vehicles Tuesday. Police Chief Paul Rinkel said the vehicles were on back order since they were budgeted during the last fiscal year.
