Rose Mary Long

“There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilization - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit.... Next to the Blessed Sacrament itself, your neighbor is the holiest object presented to your senses.” - C.S. Lewis Rose Mary Long was born April 24th, 1956 in Roswell, NM to Leonicio and Novertita Sanchez. Her body passed away on April 12th, 2026 in Edmond, OK. The Soul, that is our mom, will live forever with our Loving and Powerful Lord, Jesus. With her small physical stature and her battle with the physical strengthstealing disease that is myasthenia gravis, one would think that people would see her physicality and disregard her. That is the furthest thing from the truth. Our mother’s soul was powerful and full of love and inner strength that everyone could see.
