Wannie Jean Whiteshield

Wannie Jean Whiteshield, Little Woman, was born June 17, 1959, in Thomas, Oklahoma, and journeyed to the Happy Hunting Grounds on January 6, 2026. Surrounded by her mother, children, and granddaughters, she took her final breath at the OU Edmond ICU. Wannie was the daughter of Ercel Whiteshield and was raised between Thomas, Oklahoma, and Denver, Colorado. She attended Thomas High School and spent much of her youth in Denver as well. From a young age, Wannie was grounded in strong traditional Cheyenne values, lovingly instilled by her grandparents, Gertrude and Richard Tallbull.

Funeral services for Wannie Jean Whiteshield, 66, of Weatherford, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Freedom Worship Center in Thomas.

Noel Labastida

Noel Labastida, age 58, of Clinton, Oklahoma, was born April 26, 1967, in Jiliapan, Hidalgo, Mexico, to Mauricio and Esther (Andrade) Labastida, and passed away peacefully at his Clinton home on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025.

Susanna Williams

Susanna Williams, age 70, of Clinton, Oklahoma, was born June 16, 1955, in Clinton to A.Y. and Corine (Woods) Williams, and passed away peacefully in her Clinton home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Funeral services for Jerry Tom Rice, 90, of Mustang, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, at Lakehoma Church of Christ in Mustang.

Funeral services for Susanna Williams, 70, of Clinton, will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 9, at Cornerstone Church.

Lois Nadine Graft Shreve

Lois Nadine Graft Shreve passed away December 15, 2025, at her home in Harlingen, Texas. She was born in Custer County, Oklahoma on 1/3/1927 to Warren and Dortha Graft – the oldest of three children. Dortha passed away in 1936 when Lois was 9 years old.

Lois Nadine Graft Shreve passed away December 15, 2025, at her home in Harlingen, Texas. She was born in Custer County, Oklahoma on 1/3/1927 to Warren and Dortha Graft – the oldest of three children. Dortha passed away in 1936 when Lois was 9 years old.

Darren Ray Jefferson

Darren Ray Jefferson, age 65, of Clinton, Oklahoma, was born June 7, 1960, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Bob and Julia Etta (Berry) Jefferson, and passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Darren attended college following high school and later made his home in San Antonio, Texas, where he lived for 44 years. A gifted craftsman and creative spirit, Darren owned and operated Hall of Frame for more than 18 years. He considered his framing work an extension of his artistic expression, taking great pride in every piece he created. His custom frames were used in numerous San Antonio art museums to display works of art. Darren was also a member of the Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce, where he was known for his professionalism and dedication to his trade.
