Patsy “Pat” Ruth Dowdell was born on February 5, 1937 on a farm in Sayre, OK She was the youngest of seven children born to Ben and Iva Titsworth. She passed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 89 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Pat grew up on the family farm north of Sayre, She attended and graduated from New Liberty School in 1954. In 1955, Pat married Keith Dowdell and to this union two daughters were born, Debra Sue and Montie Ann. They made their home in Oklahoma City, Wichita Falls, TX, Senaca, KS, Overbrook, KS, back to Oklahoma City, Yukon and finally Clinton in 1973.

She is preceded in death by her husband Keith, parents Ben and Iva, daughter Debra Sue, and six siblings.

Pat is survived by her daughter Montie Adair of Clinton, OK; granddaughter Kara Edwards and husband Ky of McKinney, TX; grandson Andrew Fenity and wife Kortney of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter Tobi Merit and husband Cody of Chickasha, OK; and five great grandchildren; son-in-law Larry Fenity of Edmond, OK; brother-in-law Danny Dowdell and wife Nancy of Clinton, OK, brother-inlaw Bill Dowdell of Clinton, OK; eleven nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
