With the 2024 football season in full swing, the Clinton Red Tornadoes looked to improve during their free week, as they continue to fight for another state title.
In the heat of the late summer sun, the Clinton Lady Reds (3-14) softball team fell 16-0 to the Kingfisher Lady Yellowjackets Thursday at home in front of the Lady Reds’ fan base.

Taking control of the game
As the softball season moves along, Clinton senior pitcher Addyson Littke has her eyes set on her future as she gets closer to graduating from high school.
As the 2024 high school football season kicked off last week, the Clinton Daily News’ weekly Pigskin Football Contest did as well.
In the comfort of their home gym, the Clinton Lady Reds volleyball team (10-6) fought against the Altus Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night in the Tornado Dome, but fell 3-1 (19-25, 25-14, 21-25, 19-25) Coach Gabbie Parsons said she wants to get her team back in the gym to get back to how they were playing to start the season.
