ARAPAHO – No trophies or awards were handed out for Arapaho-Butler basketball’s annual Western Equipment Tournament-turnedfestival this past weekend, but the No. 3 A-B boys notched one major achievement, reaching 11-0 for the first time in this prolonged run of success.
WEATHERFORD – The Clinton girls’ basketball team entered the fourth quarter, leading 27-22, and with the pressure on to maintain that lead, they played winning basketball, sinking timely buckets and avoiding turnovers, in a 39-32 win over Duncan Thursday in the opening round of the Weatherford Tourney.

Arapaho-Butler senior point guard Ethan Pyron isn’t on pace to reach 1,000 points in his career, but he’s put together an all-around career stat log at 572 points, 305 assists and 230 rebounds entering the post-Christmas schedule.
