POTEAU – On the road, not favored and doubted by many, the No. 9 Clinton football team went to the Class 4A, defending state champ, No. 3 Poteau Pirates and stunned everybody, except themselves and the town that has followed them, in a 17-10, quarterfinals win Friday night.
The Clinton basketball program looks to continue its recent rise after what’s been a solid, competitive last three years.
