Reds capture wins in tourney openers

The winning streak for the Clinton baseball team (8-5 overall) was pushed out to four games Thursday with a pair of wins in the Kingfisher-Piedmont Tournament.

CHS competes in back-to-back

A busy few days for the Clinton tennis program helped each varsity starter pick up at least six games of reps against top-notch competition Thursday, Monday and Tuesday.

It had been two years since the Clinton soccer program had played in a district contest, but the gap didn’t change anything for the Reds and Lady Reds Tuesday night at home, as both teams swept Elgin for the program’s 17th consecutive district sweep.

WEATHERFORD – Nearly the entire Clinton boys’ golf team saw improved scores at the Weatherford Tournament Friday, returning to play for the first time in more than two weeks.
