There was no rest for the Clinton girls’ golf team to open the week, playing back-to-back tournaments Monday and Tuesday, after having played just one all season prior, but the young squad battled against the elements to take home a thirdplace team trophy Tuesday at Tecumseh’s tourney.

For the second straight weekend, the Clinton baseball team (8-7 overall) ended with a fourth-place finish at a tournament, repeating its results from the I-40 Classic, at the Kingfisher-Piedmont Tourney Saturday.
