(AP) – Oklahoma will seek its third straight Women’s College World Series title as the No. 1 national seed in the upcoming NCAA Women’s Softball Tournament.
The senior year of high school is meant to be a special year, but for some studentathletes it can also be a sad year too as most do not continue the sport in which they have been playing for a good chunk of their lives.

While going out on top would be a nice way to end an athletic career, sometimes it is just not in the cards for players at all levels of play.
In addition to achieving their third straight soccer championship the Red Tornadoes were previously decorated with five All-District designations and six members of the Lady Reds also achieved the honor. They were recognized at the annual CHS Soccer Banquet.

Being a young program doesn’t always mean that there will not be successful years early on.
In any sport, athletes have to stay prepared for anything to happen during the season or playoffs. That even includes potentially replacing a team at some point.
With young athletic programs, success does not tend to come early and often for them.
Every athlete has the chance to win a title in their sport, no matter if the odds happen to be in their favor or not.
