CHS passes first test of district play

As the Clinton High School Red Tornadoes continues through district play, the program welcomed the Elk City Elks to the Tornado Bowl where Clinton would prevail 21-7 in a hard-fought match.

The Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers were able to spoil Corn Bible Academy’s homecoming Friday night at Crusader Park with a 36-8 win in a district game that could have been different if only CBA would have had more bodies to put on the field to play against the Tigers.

Ceniceros works hard to prove people wrong

Former Red Tornado football player Antonio Ceniceros said he has to work harder compared to others on the field to compensate for his size, as he plays for Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Whirlwinds split with Elk City

For the final time this season, both the seventh- and eighth-grade Whirlwind teams took to the Tornado Bowl as they welcomed in the I-40 neighbor Elk City Tuesday at the Tornado Bowl.
