Nancy Holland Smith was born in 1943 in Altus, OK and graduated from Clinton High School. She passed away peacefully on August 19 surrounded by many family and friends.

A woman of deep faith and unwavering grace, Nancy was a devoted member of Church of the Servant, where her kind spirit touched many lives. She was generous, compassionate, vibrant, and both graceful and gracious.

In 1972, Nancy married the love of her life, Robert Smith.

Together, they blended their families — Nancy’s beloved daughter, Jeanna, and Robert’s three children, Kit, Rob and Diana — creating a large, loving family that expanded over the decades.

Nancy is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanna (Smith) Stewart; her brother, Jim Holland; and her parents, Homer Holland and Alice Fay (Simmons) Winkel. Her legacy of love and kindness continues to live on through those she cherished.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Robert Smith, her brother, Joel Holland, three children Katherine Addleman, Robert Smith, Jr., Diana Walters, and sonin- law Eric Stewart. She was a proud Yaya of nine grandchildren – Elizabeth Addleman, Virginia Addleman, Charlotte Addleman, Abigail Dumont, Bethany Bourland, Angela Garza, Mitchell Walters, Conner Walters, and Amelia Stewart- and six greatgrandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and joy into her life.

A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at Church of the Servant on Monday, August 25, at 10:00 AM, with graveside to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. All who knew and loved Nancy are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Church of the Servant or the Arthritis Foundation in Nancy’s memory.
