Graveside services for Conrad Alan Burgtorf, 85 year-old Clinton resident, were held Monday, November 24, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery, south of Custer City, with Rev. Doyle Kinney officiating. Services were under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.

Alan was born November 2, 1940, in Clinton, to Conrad “Con” August and Dorothy Alice (Agan) Burgtorf and passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at River Valley Nursing Home in Clinton.

On July 4, 1976, he married Shirley Lee (Southworth) Butcher in Clinton and they made their home south of Custer City.

Alan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley Burgtorf of their home in Clinton; two daughters, Chaille Burgtorf of Oklahoma City and Kesia (Burgtorf) Slagell and husband, Kevin of Hydro; two sons, Jim Butcher of Custer City and Jon Butcher and wife, Jackie of Pawleys Island, SC; grandchildren, Gage Butcher and wife, Mary Katherine, Sydney Jahn (Butcher) Hoffman and husband, Jacob, Reid Butcher, Kendall (Masquelier) Humphreys and husband, Blaine James, Staci (Masquelier) Sweeden and husband, Ryan, Cameron (Slagell) Mc-Brayer and husband, Bill, Carly (Slagell) Pearcy and husband, Trenton; great-grandsons, J.T. Butcher, Coleman, Creede and Cashe McBrayer, and Trotter and Briggs Pearcy; and greatgranddaughters, Kennedy and Addison Humphreys, Isabelle Sweeden and Ella Jo Hoffman; brother, Neal Burgtorf and wife, Carol Lee of Wichita, KS; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
