WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court adopted its first code of ethics, in the face of sustained criticism over undisclosed trips and gifts from wealthy benefactors to some justices, but the code lacks a means of enforcement.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is hosting the annual APEC summit for the first time since 2011. Leaders from the 21-member Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation group will gather in San Francisco to talk about how to better spur trade and economic growth across the Pacific region.

The Custer County Sheriff’s Office will be increasing its presence in area schools after Custer County commissioners approved an agreement Monday between the sheriff’s office and Arapaho- Butler Public Schools to allow for deputies to spend up to 10 hours a week at the school.
