The Oklahoma State Department of Education released its annual Statewide School Report Card Nov. 15, stating “stagnant and unacceptable results” show a need for “Back to Basics.”
The M.T. and Helen Gholston Children’s Park remains closed and in need of major repairs after the aging park was the victim of vandals earlier this year. With winter quickly approaching, City Manager Robert Johnston says the City is no closer to finding a solution to reopen the communitybuilt children’s park as it continues to be closed due to unsafe conditions.
