DALLAS (AP) — A 13-year-old Texas boy convicted of murder in the fatal shooting of a Sonic Drive-In employee has been sentenced to 12 years incarceration, authorities said.

Dennis James Cokeley, 46, of El Reno, is facing additional charges of assault with intent to commit a felony, placing bodily fluid on a government employee, attempting to escape from detention and assault and battery on a medical professional after multiple incidences at the Custer County Jail while he has continued to be held on charges of fourth-degree arson.
