Teacher of Year candidates named

The Clinton Public School Foundation has announced its teachers, support staff and newcomers of the year at each school site within the district. Organizers say all of these teachers and staff members were selected by their peers and administration because of their incredible work ethic, their outstanding attitudes and their passion for the students. In a later issue of the Clinton Daily News, the biographic details of support staff as well as newcomers will be included while this will only be of the certified teaching staff.

Clinton Police officers earn promotions

Officers at the Clinton Police Department have recently risen in the ranks with two officers promoted to the rank of sergeant along with another officer’s promotion to detective at the beginning of November.

With state leaders working to ready Oklahoma to become a major player in the air and space industry, eyes continue to be on the Oklahoma Air and Space Port in Burns Flat which has seen a record amount of growth over the past few months according to officials.

CBA Homecoming candidates
