At Tuesday night’s meeting of the Clinton City Council, an executive session was held, and a variety of topics were discussed, with a few updates on various projects and some decisions being made by council members.

With the government shutdown still in effect, and no clear resolution in sight, the Clinton Regional Hospital’s Rural Emergency Hospital’s status is on hold. However, hospital officials are still taking necessary steps toward finalizing the process in the meantime, and the facility is still functioning as usual.
