In a meeting where more information was needed to cover agenda items that were tabled for later, the Custer County commissioners were informed of issues affecting the agriculture sector by County Extension Director Larry Bryen during Monday’s meeting at the Custer County Courthouse.
Clinton High School was one of the seven Oklahoma high schools to be named “Oklahoma’s Promise 2025 State Champions,” which is a recognition for high schools in the state with the highest number of graduates who met the requirements to receive an Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship.
The Reach Higher degree-finishing program at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) awarded more than $15,000 in Finish Line scholarships to 10 students enrolled in Reach Higher degree programs, with awards averaging just more than $1,500 per student.
