Arson suspect not yet located by authorities

Clinton resident Tuhtaka Wilson, 49, is wanted for alleged arson and aggravated assault and battery. Clinton police assisted the Custer County Sheriff’s Office in an attempt to locate the suspect Friday, but Investigator Jeff Stanford said he was not located over the weekend.

County Commissioners took no action on the county-wide burn ban during Monday’s regular commissioner meeting. They discussed several fires that occurred over the weekend, and said this is not the time to remove the ban.
