No actions were taken and no updates were given regarding Carrus Health’s takeover of management of the Clinton hospital during a special meeting of the Clinton Hospital Authority on Tuesday. While a majority of the meeting took place in executive session with the public and press barred, no actions were taken.

Gov. Kevin Stitt will serve another term as governor after receiving more than 55% of the vote in Tuesday’s general election. Democratic challenger Joy Hofmeister received just less than 42% of the vote while Libertarian Natalie Bruno and Independent Ervin Stone Yen each received 1.4%.
