WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court appeared likely Wednesday to leave in place most of a federal law that gives preference to Native American families in foster care and adoption proceedings of Native children.

(AP) — The possibility of an economically devastating railroad strike has been pushed back into early December to allow time for engineers and conductors to vote on their agreements with the freight railroads and give more opportunity for the industry to renegotiate with two unions that rejected their deals last month.

As a reminder, there will be no Friday edition of the Clinton Daily News due to the Veterans Day holiday.

CPS Career Fair deemed sucessful

Clinton Public Schools hosted a highly anticipated career fair for Clinton Middle School and Clinton High School students on Tuesday. The career fair hosted local businesses, local career technician schools and colleges from across the state.
