As the playoffs draw near, the Clinton Red Tornado football team (7-1, 4-1) will face its biggest test Friday as the Red Tornadoes will head southeast to Elgin Friday to take on the Class 4A Dist. 1-leading Owls.
Getting support for the program
With the playoffs around the corner, Clinton Red Tornado football senior Brady Chittum is starting to think about his future after high school For Chittum, he said he has enjoyed playing for the Clinton High School Red Tornadoes, as he likes being able to spend time with his teammates and donning the historic helmets.
Mike Blackburn of Clinton has won first place in last week’s edition of the Clinton Daily News’ Pigskin Football Contest, as he was able to correctly guess nine winners of the 10 games.
