A second helping of program-reestablishing dominance was handed down by the Clinton football team in its 49-14, season-opening victory over the rival Woodward Boomers Friday night at the Tornado Bowl.
An important district battle went the other way for the Clinton softball team (8-12 overall, 1-4 in district), suffering a detrimental loss to Anadarko (7-12, 3-5) Thursday night at home by a score of 4-2.
CACHE – The Clinton Middle School football program won both its games at Cache Thursday night with the seventh grade prevailing in overtime, 14-6, and the eighth grade squad dominating the Bulldogs, 48-0.
