As the season nears the end for the young Clinton Red Tornado tennis team, it had one goal this year of taking steps forward to be a better team in the future.

As they hunt for a state title, the Clinton Lady Reds golf team punched its ticket to the Class 4A State Golf Tournament after finishing second in the Class 4A Regional Tournament in Elk City.

According to the fishing report from Custer County Game Warden Clint Carpenter, on April 20 the water at Foss Lake remained at 3 feet below its normal elevation level, and it also remained in stable condition.

As they looked to celebrate the seniors who helped build up the programs, Clinton only needed the first half in each game to defeat Douglass Tuesday in the Tornado Bowl.
