As they hunt for a state title, the Clinton Lady Reds golf team punched its ticket to the Class 4A State Golf Tournament after finishing second in the Class 4A Regional Tournament in Elk City.

According to the fishing report from Custer County Game Warden Clint Carpenter, on April 20 the water at Foss Lake remained at 3 feet below its normal elevation level, and it also remained in stable condition.

As they looked to celebrate the seniors who helped build up the programs, Clinton only needed the first half in each game to defeat Douglass Tuesday in the Tornado Bowl.

As she prepares to conclude her final year of golf with the Clinton Lady Reds, Rylee Cummins has put pen to paper and will be a member of the Seminole State Lady Trojans next year.

With the regular season nearing its conclusion, the Clinton Reds (5-17) and Arapaho-Butler Indians (19-5) squared off Friday in Arapaho for supremacy of U.S. Highway 183, with the Indians coming out on top 5-0 over the Reds.

Former Clinton Reds baseball player Caden Powell, now in the Houston Astros farm system as a member of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, was recently featured on Sportscenter’s Top-10 Plays, coming in at No. 3 in the Woodpeckers’ game against the Fredericksburg Nationals.

Riding a threegame losing streak into Thursday’s home matchup against the Thomas Terriers, the Clinton Reds (5-16) needed extra innings to complete the comeback and win 9-8.
