The Clinton football team was chasing a shot at a state title for the better part of the last decade, and it still is, but it’s no longer off Class 4A’s radar.

After much criticism for its up-anddown play in 2019, the Clinton offense rebounded for a much better year in 2020 and even morphed somewhat into a methodical sledgehammer in the postseason.
Across the last three years, the Clinton football team has boasted one of the best defenses in the state.
