Losing streaks can be rough on teams, but once they are broken it is like a breath of fresh air and a weight lifted off the team’s shoulder.
A pair of Clinton High School track athletes went up north to test their skills among the nation’s elite this weekend and the rest of the tracksters went to compete at Elk City.
The Clinton High School baseball team traveled the short distance Friday to Arapaho to play the Indians in a non-district game. Arapaho-Butler came away with a 12-10 win on a day where both teams had difficulty on the pitching mound.
It is hard to stop a golf ball from rolling down a steep hill.
