Lawrence Homer Hart, . He’amavehonevestse (Sky Chief) was born at home on the banks of Quartermaster Creek north of Hammon to Jennie Howling Water and Homer Hart on February 24, 1933. He was delivered by his grandmother Corn Stalk— Anna Reynolds—who was a midwife and delivered numerous Cheyenne babies. His grandfather John Peak Heart (later John P. Hart) was a Cheyenne Sundance Priest, Native American Church leader and Cheyenne Chief. Lawrence had two older brothers Alvin and Sam, three older sisters Lucy, Lenore, and Kris who preceded him in death. He has one younger sister Ramona who resides in Weatherford.

Marsha Lee (Mayes) McNeill, better known as Marcie, was born March 8, 1956, in Sulphur, to the late John Stanley and Bea (Crary) Mayes. She died on Monday, February 21, 2022, surrounded by her husband, sons, and daughters, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 13 days. Marcie and Mark Cole McNeill were married on October 7, 1978, in Sulphur. From this marriage was born two sons, Mason, and Morgan.
Funeral services for Juanita Castro, 71, of Clinton, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
