Maynoma Jean (Starr) Curtis, age 53, of Anadarko, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at her home. She was born Novem-ber 18, 1971, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to David Mickey and Margaret Lillian (Whitecrow) Starr.

Maynoma was raised in Clinton and attended Clinton High School. She later completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She worked independently as an LPN for several years before dedicating recent years to being a devoted homemaker. She was a proud member of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and a faithful member of Christ Gospel Church in Anadarko.

On March 28, 1992, Maynoma married Harry Andrew Curtis in Anadarko. She was a gifted musician from a very young age and loved to sing. She enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with her family, and especially cherished every moment with her grandchildren.

Maynoma was preceded in death by her parents, David and Margaret Starr; her husband, Harry Curtis; her sisters, Joella Whitetail, Anosta Sue Horn, and Lily Starr; her brothers, Charles Canwell and Buddy Pendergrass; and her aunts and uncles, Phillip and Inola Killstirst, and Robert and Joye Blackwolf Gene Starr, Grandparents Rosie Hall-Zotigh Starr and David Starr Sr., Great Grandfather Harry Hall-Zotigh.

She is survived by her commonlaw spouse, Randy Klinekore, of the home; her daughters, Mickayla Curtis of Anadarko and Andrea Curtis of California; her sisters, Natasha Horn of Tulsa and Justine Cantu of Oklahoma City; her brothers, Casey Horn of Clinton and Marquis Horn of Hydro; and four beloved grandchildren.

A traditional wake will be held Monday, November 24, 2025, at Christ Gospel Church in Anadarko from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and will continue from 9:30 PM to midnight at the Clinton ERC Building. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Clinton ERC Building, officiated by Anthony Williamson and Delfred “Bunny” Whitecrow and Mona Bearsheild. Burial will follow at the Clinton Indian Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
