Sylvia Brady Woods

Born and raised in Webster Springs, West Virginia. Other places lived were Roswell, New Mexico, Tucumcari, New Mexico, Williamstown, Ohio, and Clinton, Oklahoma.

Sylvia graced the lives of three men to whom she was married, Harry Harper, I.M. SarRn Jr., and Elmer Woods. She was the alto in the Brady Sisters Trio. She owned and ran a restaurant for a time and was a worldclass waitress for many years. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi.

Sylvia was a devout Christian and an active member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was always service oriented, not only participating in AARP and her HOA, but she was also the President of the Custer County Triad for many years, as recent as 2021.

She was a loving, caring, and graciously giving mother and grandmother.

Sylvia was preceded in death by Father, Sherman Brady, Mother, Retha Brady, Brothers, John & Harold Brady, Sisters, Wilma, Wavalene Ann, and Goldie, son, Karl Max, and step granddaughters, Shelly McKinney and Misty Fox.

She is survived by Sister, Doris Jean White, daughters, Angela Sartin and Katheryne Brown, son-inlaw, Troy Brown, son, Brady SarRn, stepdaughters, Marvine Fox, Marline Beene, and Roby Elson, Step sons-in-law, Jack Fox, Bill Beene, and Jim Elson, grandchildren Monica Autry, Tres Haney, and Trigg Brown, stepgrandchildren Troy Fox, Sam Beene, JusRne Beene, Andrew Beene, Cory Spencer, Gatra Gibbs, and Cliff McKinney, and many great grand children.

Services for Sylvia will be a small graveside service at Bone Cave Mtn Cemetery in Bone Cave, Tennessee on November 8, 2025 at 1:00pm.
