Clinton Middle School students were evacuated Tuesday afternoon due to a possible fire atop the school’s cafeteria.

Fire alarms were set off, and there was a report of visible smoke inside the building.

Students were bussed over to the Tornado Dome to be picked up for the day.

The Clinton Fire Department was on scene trying to determine the location of the fire, as there was no visible damage.

A roofing company had been working atop the building.
